I had a double CABG in Aug 97. Before the op. I was unable to wllk more than a few yards without pain. Now I can climb hills and do everything a 57 year old would wish for! Good luck with the site.

Hi! Just a short note to say that after 31/2 years out from a mvp repair, a true repair of the heart, NOT a replacement valve; I am doing GREAT, no meds... NOTHING! The trick is to have a GOOD surgeon and start rehab immediately; And stick to it for a year or so. I was 62 yrs. at the time. Praise God, I'm back.....Also, good nutrition and plenty of vitamins etc. is a MUST!!! A positive attitude is also a must. Dennis........
